I am disabled and live on $746 a month. My medications cost me over $800. I am not eligible for any aide because I make over the amount of eligibility or about $52 month to much. the$ 746 does not account for any other bills I may have like elct. or gas or water bills or insurance on vehicle, life and home.I will not be eligible for medicaid until next august as that will be the date I recieve my first disability check, I was approved for disability in February, my insurance cost us $2800 a month, now you do the math here , because I am high risk with severe asthma, COPD, degenerative disc/ bone disease. My husband makes only about $48000 a year and has lost about 44% of his 401K plan . we are not rich, all of our savings has been sspent on all my hospital visits and medicines . how will I be helped. I worked 34 years and paid taxes. when are people like us going to get helped by our government, I get so sick every time I hear the news and see more waste and corruption. we have no golden parchutes or bonues packages, I am just trying to live and without medical help I cannot.
